Become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician
The Phlebotomy program at Ohio Medical Academy is designed to equip students with essential skills in blood collection. This certification program provides the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to work as a Phlebotomist in various healthcare settings.
What Does a Phlebotomy Technician Do?
Phlebotomy Technicians are responsible for drawing blood samples for laboratory testing, blood donations, and transfusions. Their role is crucial in diagnosing and monitoring patients' health conditions and ensuring the safe handling of blood specimens.
